The original Pretty Boy of English Literature, Mr. Dorian Gray. Influences include Jude Law playing Bosie in Wilde, Tom Riddle´s curl of evil, Jonathan Rhyss Meyers´ lips, dandy!George from Paradise Kiss and Anthy Himemiya from Revolutionary Girl Utena.
 This is a belated birthday present for my friend Grisel... so late in fact, that´s it´s more of a Christmas present.  Anyway, I hope she likes it! I hadn´t done any colour work in ages, specially not with traditional media, so this is hardly as good as I had hoped. The original is considerably more vibrant, but my scanner refused to cooperate. All the same, I am oddly pleased with the final piece. It comes quite close to the Dorian I see in my mind everytime I read Oscar Wilde´s book. Only of course, in my mind he looks ten times hotter! |

I might do another Dorian soon... darker, nastier, sexier Dorian, because he is a lot more fun than the earlier rosy cheeks version!
